Are you a Mechanical Engineer with a background in Plant, Forklifts, Generators or Automation looking to further your career in an exciting role offering extensive on-the-job training to become a go-to technical expert and plenty of overtime opportunities to further increase earnings?

For over 15 years, this well-established company has hired out welding equipment into various industries, including nuclear, aerospace, oil and gas. In order to keep supporting large projects in the UK and continue their ambitious expansion plans, they are now looking for someone to join their friendly team.

This is a primarily workshop-based position, working Monday to Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with an early finish at 3:30 p.m. on Fridays. In the early stages of the role, you'll focus on diagnostics, testing, and troubleshooting of machinery, while gaining hands-on experience by shadowing repair work. As you grow in the role, you'll take on greater responsibility, including fault-finding, calibration, and performing preventative maintenance and repairs.

• Mechanical Engineer
• Plant, Forklift, Generator or Automation background
• Commutable to St Helens
• Full UK Driving Licence
