Recruit4staff are representing a leading manufacturer for the construction & civil engineering sector in their search for a Fabricator Welder to work in St Helens
Job Details:
- Pay: £16 per hour
- Hours of Work: Monday - Thursday 7am - 4pm, with a 2:30pm finish on Fridays
- Duration: Temporary (Long-term work with a good chance of a permanent contract)
Job Role: As a Fabricator Welder, you will be responsible for the fabrication of steel products using galvanised and thin gauge steel (1.5mm - 3.5mm). Your duties will include MIG welding, oxyacetylene and plasma cutting, reading and working from engineering drawings, and operating a range of workshop machinery and power tools.
Essential Skills, Experience, or Qualifications:
- MIG Welding
- Fabrication of steel components
- Using power tools
Advantageous Skills, Experience, or Qualifications
- C&G/NVQ in Fabrication and Welding or equivalent
- Previous experience working with galvanised steel
- Previous experience working with thin gauge steel
